Hey Beauties! (I literally have KISS press on nails.. that’s how REAL the struggle is! *sigh* Quarantine just isn’t for me!) If there’s anything I live for, it’s a casual/comfy fit that looks put together and effortless. I love the idea of wearing something I literally would chill in at home and roll out in public in it. I’m not talking about a trip to Starbucks or to pump gas, I’m talking about going out day drinking or to run errands.
Done Right
The secret to getting away with this is to either not give a s**t what people think/say OR wear something that makes you look like you’ve tried. I discovered the brand Collusion on ASOS and never looked back.
Their items are not only of superb quality, but are DOPE and extremely cost effective. So basically what I’m saying is… I did all the work for you and am going to put you on to one of my favorite brands and fashion hacks.
Fake It Till You Make It
Choosing the right outfit to pull this off is to stick with one brand. I like to choose pieces with oversized wording or branding and personally seem to keep the same brand if possible throughout the outfit. Remember, the goal here is to literally throw something on without having to think about it. Keeping things cohesive gives the appearance of you purposely wearing the fit since it’s all one brand. Most importanly… shoe choice, pick a sleek clean sneaker that will tie the look together. I went for a more vintage type sneaker to keep the retro feel going since I went for a brighter colored top. You could easily take a look like this and throw a jean jacket over your shoulders and a pair of stacked combat boots and work queen. That’s what you want in a fit (especially a cozy one)… Functionality at its finest.

The Options Are Endless
Obviously Collusion isn’t the only brand you can use to achieve this same concept but in my experience, it’s a brand that will give you the most bang for your buck and keep you looking fresh. You could easily reach for brands like Nike or Adidas to pull off this same vibe but I feel more at risk of giving off an “atheltic” feel as opposed to something a little more edgy and vibrant with pairing a more underground street brand.
I purchase all my Collusion pieces from ASOS and not only do they always have new pieces added frequently, but there are usually several pieces on sale… (as low as $5 sometimes…*you’re welcome*).
