Hey Beauties! (waiting for “The Real World” to make a come back.. who’s with me?) Queens… I went for it and rocked the most “oversized” tee in my collection and I was O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D… now LISTEN UP… You know I had to drop that disclaimer: Don’t feel the need to drop $300 on a t-shirt, now I preach about splurging on yourself and indulging when you are able and willing. I’ve had my eyes on this “Palm Angels” tee for a minute but am SO addicted to shoes that I had other plans for my coin *wink*
Now that I am satisfied with my collection (for now) I was able to set my sights on something else on my list. For those of you that don’t know Palm Angel’s is a luxury brand deemed “street wear” but it represents a more “skate inspired” motif and made it’s place in the scene fast & hard. I’ll keep it 100 and say that I had about 5.5 seconds of “buyer’s remorse” and then as soon as I put it on… a queen was LIVING.
Unique Drip
I dig a piece with unique placement of graphics or wording, something as simple as the font flowing onto the back sleeves and a smaller front collar placement is something that I just can’t pass up.
I recently purchased a piece from the brand Collusion with a similar vibe and talked a little about how hard it is to find simple tops with dope font and graphics on the backside of a top (check it out here) so when I see them, I SNATCH them up quick! If you don’t normally scope out the men’s department, I highly recommend you do if you’re looking for a vibe like this.

Leave It To The Tee
The best thing about a DETAILED oversized tee?? there isn’t much you have to do when styling it… let the tee do the talking and decide where you want to add more flavor.. I went for stacked choker/necklaces, a low messy bun, and a beanie (…duh… and I must say, I’m obsessed with this whole hair/head gear moment) You could easily pair a tee like this with vinyl leggings or even detailed leggings and keep everything else minimal… or do as I did and pull out the ol’ faithful cycling shorts and jazz it up with some dope kicks and some neck candy.

I prefer a more sleek (no buttons or belt loops) option when choosing a bottom just so everything is clean and I don’t have ANY added bulk whatsoever. Ain’t nobody got time for lumps and bumps under an already oversized look *wink*

Oversized tees make up the majority of my wardrobe and are an easy collection to accumulate. I try and step out of my comfort zone and reach for colors other than black... but a sis is struggling… *wink* Don’t feel that you need to rock a street vibe like this to pull off this look.
This is my personal preference but you can rock a similar look with the shirt of you’re choosing in about 2-3 sizes larger than your normal size. Play with looks and give it a try… I promise you won’t regret it and will be surprised how much you will end up liking not only the look buy how comfortable you are.
